Docking

We're arriving in Bangkok with a Seabourne cruise, does anyone know where they dock? And how far from the river hotels? How to get from the ship to the hotels (Peninsula, Shangri La, Oriental) ?

Check with your booking agent and then let us know which port, i.e. Kong Toey or Laem Chabang then we can advise you.

Thanks will do.

Seabourne are small ships, if it is one or the triplets, we were on the Spirit last spring, they were docking in Kong Toey.

If it's Klong Toey then you are about 15 - 30 minutes(depending on traffic) away by taxi from the "river hotles".

Thanks for the response. My husband and I are planning on abandoning ship to spend the night on land and do some sightseeing on our own. Good idea?
