Dear Alan, in the USA (and you already used the word) slander would be the description.

A good 2005 to you and yours ((*))

Thanks, LoveItaly! Same for you.

Don't forget to look in on "that" thread on the Australian board, as it has picked up again, with some NEW news!

What is meant by the Australian board? How does one visit that? Thanks

It was a bad news and my first time to hear a complaint of my services from teamkaren who emailed to request for a transport and a tour guide in Angkor. I promised to be her personal tour guide, but unfortunately, I was sick and I had arranged a guide who was my brother and a transport for them. But when there were waiting at the airport for almost an hour and when she left from the airport, she just refused my arrangement. Furthermore, I went to apoligize her at the hotel and promise to find a better tour guide but they still refused my appreciation.

Hope this message will help me up to apologize them(Karen) to stop putting more bad comments. I was so sorry for this reason. I was really sick then but I was very upset to hear very serious comment from fodors.com.

Regards,

Ou Panha

JaneB .. in Siem Reap I stayed at the Bopha-Angkor, and during my 3 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia, it was the ouytstanding hotel. I was travelling on a bit of a budget as I was writing travel articles as a geriatric hippy, so expensive would have spoiled my story. The Bopha_Angkor was about $40, had delightfully atmospheric rooms, a small but wonderful swimming pool and bar area (very private) and a pretty good restaurant. It also had the best cable TV, and was centrally located. The gardens were also like an oasis, and it was only a 5 min walk from the Foreign Correspondents" Club which I think has the best food in Siem Reap, and is frightfully romantic at night! Email me if you want any further details.

We have used Travelindochina for guides in the Far East. No Probs. We had a particularly good guide for Angkor Wat.Check them out at
