do I need to bring my own photos for visas?
2 countries we'll be visiting require visa's...Cambodia and Laos.
Do we need to bring our own photos to attach? |
i just read that you do need one now for cambodia
|
i would take several just in case...you also need one or two for the pass to angkor wat
|
heads up bob, you don't need photos for passes to Angkor Wat anymore...they have their own cameras now and they are built into the pass.....people were counterfeiting the old style passes and reselling them, so they changed the system...

thanks lori

If you are stopping in Thailand first you can get them there pretty cheap. They can do them while you wait.

You do want your visa photos in advance. Most places will have a way for you to get photos there, but with more hassle. When I went to Laos, they required two photos, Cambodia required one. I always carry a couple of visa photos.

OK....thanks for that! I'll bring 3 or 4 to be safe.

What I do - 'cos I'm the meanest man in the world - is get one passport photo - scan it, make a page in my computer of 16 pics and print it out on a nice piece of glossy photo paper.
One pair of scissors and voila! 16 passport photos. Perfect. This is only for the poor people and the mean people. Shhh - don't tell anyone I do this. I'm pretending to be rich. I still steal the soap from the hotels too. lol |
No wonder you can afford $95 rooms in Siem Reap. Heh.
