Diabetic in China

Controlling diabetes with pills. Doing 21 day Grand Circle tour of China in October. Will I have a food problem?

We toured with OAT (Grand Circle is their parent company) and our tour guide went out of her way to make sure all needs were met. One group member was a vegetarian and the guide made sure there were a variety of foods for that person. The guide also went out very late one night to pick up medication for another group member.
Each meal has a wide variety of foods--10 to 15 choices set in the center of the table!
Let your tour group leader know what your needs are and he or she will probably go out of their way to assist you.

Ken,

I don't know anything about controlling diabetes with diet, so I can't help without knowing more - if you post back with what that means in terms of diet, I can try to help let you know what's available here.

I also agree with Jane that your tour group should be able to help you.

Good luck!
