There are lots of such dentists in Varanasi. I was amazed watching them. Hey, whose to criticize? It's India. Most of the people are desparately poor and could never afford an "office" dentist. These guys are a much better option than writhing in pain or getting a brain infection from a tooth. Thanks for the link. Very interesting.

In India, there is virtually no legal liability so no one will stop this type of "dental' care. It's perpetuated by poor people who are also ignorant to the risk of infection and other damage to their mouth. This kind of dental care doesn't go without consequences. Infection and worsening of the original problem are not uncommon.
