Dealings with Vietnamstay/Aurora Travel

Hi
I am looking for people who have recently dealt with Vietnamstay.com.

I have booked all my internal flights and accommodation with them, which I have been more than happy with their service.

My query relates to their payment method - I've been told that I don't actually pay anything now, when I arrive they will have a driver pick me up and take me to their office to pay the bill?

Can anyone else confirm that this is the one it's supposed to be? It just seemed a little odd to me, but then I've never really had any dealings with travel agencies, I usually book directly with hotels and airlines.

Many thanks

Typo - 'Can anyone confirm that this is the WAY it's supposed to be'

Cheers

Yes, i booked with them about a year ago...and paid at the end of our stay in Hanoi...But i did give them my credit card number to secure the reservation.

I was very impressed with their service and our holiday in Vietnam was very good.

I used Vietnamstay for hotel bookings and airport transfers, and booked as I travelled (18 months ago or so).

Everything worked out very well, and there were no hiccups at all. I never actually paid them, but paid the hotel which - in turn - I suppose paid Vietnamstay its commission.

I found the company highly reputable, and would have no hesitation in using it again.

I booked a one-day tour with them over the phone, and they asked me to come into the office to pay for it. They were very nice, and the guide and driver were excellent. Very professional, very helpful.
