Davis Bangkok Hotel, whats the story??

Hi,
Looking at the Davis and it seems to have great looking rooms and a great price has anyone stayed or have info on it?
It might be an option if I could get some feedback.
Thanks,
Oisin

this is a constant question...do a search as two women posted earlier this spring about the davis...i keep looking at it but never stay there...the women who reported were generally favorable....one problem is that it is quite a walk to the skytrain...

I just posted about this. Read my report and also search the forum. Davis is a good cheaper alternative in Bangkok, not 5 star though. If you do stay, be sure to get a design room. The regular rooms are just ordinary hotel rooms and not that exciting. Davis has a nice and friendly atmosphere. Very relaxed. I don't know much about the surrounding area, but it is far from the station.

Thanks guys.
Bob, when you say quite a walk, how long are we talking about??

maybe 10 minutes or so....and in that heat....doesn't sound like all that much but after doing it a few times you might find a better place nearer
