Custom suits and shirts in Vietnam-better value than Canada and the US?
 

Hi all,
Anyone had experience getting custom men’s suits and shirts made in Vietnam?

Is it worthwhile to budget time and luggage space for this during the trip to Ho Chi Ming City and Hanoi?

Any experience getting measurements done , selecting fabric, and ordering suits in Vietnam, having them shipped to North America?

Don't bother. Quality is low and prices high.

There are many excellent tailors in both cities and Vietnam is a country of low prices compared to our Occidental world. All the shops have a window display.. If you go to very charming Hoi An, buy one there, it is the town main specialty (with shoes)

ABSOLUTELY NOT ! There are remarkable tailors in Hanoi, Saigon and Hoi An (where there are five hundred) and ALL prices in the country are much lower than in ours !!!! , Saigon and Hoi An.
