Custom made shoes and Bags in Bangkok
 

Does anyone knows where to get very good quality custom-made shoes and bags from exotic skin, crocodile, etc in Bangkok? Planning a trip to Bangkok in January for 10 nights. Please let me know if you have any suggestion. Thanks.

There is a leather shop in River City Mall, near the Royal Orchid Sheraton. Can't think of the name of it, but a friend has had at least one or two pairs of boots made there. Stingray was one of the skins. They do bags as well.

There is a shop in the Mall in front of the Marriott Resort and spa on the upper level that has what you want. I think I recall they do custom work. Beautiful products. If you live in the US check the customs list carfully. It would be a shame to spend alot of money and have it confascated.

Guenmai also could send you to her person who makes custom bags, but I am not sure what materrials they use.

there are a couple of shops along sukhumvit road in the area of soi 4-6 that sell custom shoes as you describe.... mistly mens....

In Bangkok where Soi 19 meets Sukhumvit there is a place called Siam Bootery.
