custom made JEANS in bangkok or hong kong?
 

i've found lots of tips about having suits and shirts, even dresses, custom made in bangkok and hong kong. but a friend mentioned that on her last trip to hong kong (about seven or eight years ago), she and her husband had jeans custom made. as one who has to try on 800 pairs of jeans to find one that i like that fits, this sounds like the most wonderful thing imaginable!

so, has anyone heard of or had any experience with this? better yet, can anyone recommend a specific shop/tailor in either city?

Do a search here. A regular poster reported on a place he uses for custom-made jeans in Bangkok.

Indeed, a search turned up the following recommendation: "I actually had the jeans made at Dema Fashions (a/k/a Ravi's) in the Bel-Aire Hotel, which is on Soi 5 (a stone's throw from Raja's)."
