COVID entry requirements for Americans flying from Singapore

Hello! I am a US citizen planning to travel from the US to Singapore, to stay in Singapore for 48 hours, then to travel to mainland China.

Does anyone know what COVID testing I will need to show to enter China from Singapore?

On a Singapore government website, I saw that antigen tests are required for people flying from Singapore to China, but since I'm American and will have recently come from the US, I don't know if I need to get PCR/nucleic acid testing done while I am in Singapore.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks, jacketwatch, for the fast reply! I did see that link, but there's also this from the Chinese embassy in Singapore:

In accordance with the current situation of COV ID-19 pandemic and to facilitate people-to-people exchanges, starting from 1 March 2023 (Sing aporean time), Antigen Rapid Test (ART, including  ART home testing kit) result will be accepted for  air passengers flying directly from Singapore to C hina instead of PCR test.
From reading that, it seemed like it applied to everyone, not just Singapore citizens. (I'm concerned I won't be able to get a PCR test in Singapore, and any PCR test I get before leaving the US will have already expired by the time I reach China, thus my concern.)

Singapore is very modern and high tech so getting a test should be a cinch. We needed one b4 embarking on our cruise from Iceland where we stayed for 3 days first. I googled a place In Reykjavik that did them and scheduled an appointment. Got the results texted back in 30 mins so I think you should be able to do the same there.
