cooking school in Chiang Mai?

We are intrigued with the idea of taking a cooking class in Chiang Mai. Any recommendations? there seem to be so many, all of them rated highly. We are thinking a half day class would be more than enough for us. Thanks

We used https://www.thaicookeryschool.com and had a great time. I don’t think too many schools offer a half day course but some hotels might do.

We did a half day cooking class in CM in 2014 on our 2nd visit to CM. I can't recall if we went to the same one Crellston mentions. I really enjoyed our class. It was a small class and we made a delicious lunch. They picked us up from our hotel and we went to the market which was interesting to go to with a chef. I have only done a few cooking classes so I can't really compare it to others, but it was fun and a nice way to learn about their food and its culture.

I know this is a long time ago, but back in 2006, we took a class with: http://www.alotofthai.com/

The teacher, Yui, was great, and the setting was really cool as it was basically in the back of their house. At the end of class, she gave us their printed recipe book, which we still use to this day.

I went to Thailand 2 years ago, have no idea about the cooking class. I really like Thai foods. Is there any class in Bangkok, I may go to there again in next 2 months.
