Cochin Side Trip from New Dehli: Worth? Feasible?
We are considering a side trip to Cochin from New Dehli. We would basically have 1 full day in Cochin.
We arrive at DEL at 11:45 am from London and would need to connect to a Jet Airways flight that departs at 12:45 pm. Is this connection doable or is paperwork, customs, etc. difficult?
Is it worth it and is it feasible based on our flight times above?
Thanks in advance.

It's "worth" a great deal more than a day. I love Cochin & Kerala and wouldn't consider it for just 1 day. But you can take my opinion with a grain of salt due to the fact that I think India (and many other places) a waste to rush.
I also like Delhi very much and suggest you stay there if it fits into your itinerary. It's hard to tell with the little information you've given. But the connection, too, seems very short. I suggest in general that you slow down, the usual advice.

If you only have 3 days in Delhi I think you'll be happy you stayed. I wish I was going too!
A tip - If you go shopping and want to purchase things but not haul them around, head for the main post office on Connaught Place in New Delhi. They have a man there who's job it is to wrap your package and sew it into a cover for mailing. I always ship my purchases by surface mail which is relatively cheap and my things have always arrived home a couple of months later. Be sure and ask for surface mail or they'll assume you want it sent by air (unless, of course, you want it by air).

You will surely not make it, it is very close. It takes time in Immigration. I would not take a risk there. I will be better if there is a gap of alteast 2 hrs. Jet airways flies from the same terminal in Delhi, so that is not an issue. I would recommend that you take a later flight.
