Chinese Airlines and safety

Hello,
After spending some time in China, we shall fly to Japan ex Shanghai. My question: are China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Spring Airlines safe?
Appreciate and look forward to any comments

Thanks

Never heard if the second two airlines but did look into China Eastern, (a huge airline ) recently as they often have the cheapest fares from London to Sydney where we have family. A quick look on https://airlineratings.com/airlines/...eastern/safety didn’t reassure as far as safety is concerned but I didn’t dig too deeply into the methodology employed in arriving at the safety rating of 2/7.

You could use that site to check out the other two airlines. A quick peek at the TripAdvisor Air Travel forum revealed show negative reviews of Spring.

I have had a few VERY dodgy flights over the years, one where, when getting on the aircraft, I had serious doubts whether I would get in one piece. In those cases, there were no real serious alternatives. In hindsight, if had researched those flights, I probably would not have gone to those places, though I am sure that is not the case in China
