China Yunnan and Guangxi province trip

China Yunnan and Guangxi province trip
I am planning a trip to China with 2 other couples. Our itinerary includes Beijing and Xian, but since I have been there before, I feel OK about those areas.
My questions are regarding the rest of the trip.
Beijing 4 nights
Overnight to Xian
Xian 1 night
Fly to Kunming, and then immediately onto Dali 3 nights
Lijiang Village 3 nights
Fly to Guilin and immediately onto Yangshou 3 nights
Fly or train to Hong Kong for 3 nights
Any suggestions or comments are much appreciated. Also, is there a way I can hire a driver ahead of time to take us from Kunming to Dali. Thanks!

If you are visiting Lijiang you mmight want to consider the trek along Tiger Leaping Gorge (2-3 days) Lijiang is very nice, I didn't find Dali particularly great though it is interesting having old ladies come up offering to sell you "ganja".
