We are looking to book a tour of China of about two weeks in length. Any recommendations as to moderately priced tour operators??

We went with Grand Circle earlier this year -- totally satisfied.

We went with Gate1, and would go with them again. Great trip.

We went with China Spree after much research. They were about half of what GCT and others wanted and the ininerary was outstanding and the hotels all four or five star. Our trip was China's best treasures and you can go to China Spree's web site for itinerary, cost, etc. Also, if you go to the Frommers web site and click on travel talk and then Asia and then China there is a thread of about 200 postings about China Spree.

We went with Chinahighlights. Their organization has been perfect and the assigned guides and drivers very professional and helpful. You can ask to customize the tour as you prefer, and i think, this is important.
