That's Luo Hu, or Lo Wu in the transliteration of Cantonese to be found on the maps in Hong Kong. Depending on your nationality you may need to buy a tourist visa in advance, and if you've just come out of mainland China you'll need to do that or buy a multiple entry visa to start with. Citizens of some nations can buy a limited Shenzhen-only visa at the border, but a visa still has to be bought.

And the proximity to Hong Kong means the goods at Luo Hu are actually more expensive than almost anywhere else in mainland China, and only look cheap to HK residents. So not shopping in Beijing but doing so in Shenzhen really would be silly. There are decent prices to be found in Shenzhen but at markets rather further from the border.

>LOU WHU SHOPPING MALL HAS THE BEST FAKES AROUND

Most knockoff stuff stores in Lo Wu shopping mall are run by the Chiu Chow Chinese from the Eastern part of Guangdong province.

Their leather goods are from the wholesale places in Sanyuanli area, Guangzhou.

Sanyuanli is not far from Guangzhou raiload station.

Guangzhou is the knockoff center in China for super A class knockoff LV, Gucci, Chanel, Fendi & Prada hangbags, also Eviso, Levi's & Lee jeans.

Knockoff goods are contrabands.
Hongkong Customs and Excise Department carries spot checks for all passengers at the border.

A contraband record in US ICE would mean delays each time entering the country.
