China in June

I know it is hot during the summer, but is June really that hot or are people referring to July and August?

We went in June (we left CAlif. about the 18th) I wore short and capris most of the time. Primarily Linen and cotton. Bottled ice water is available everywehre you go. We were there for three weeks and the monsoons came in just after we left. It was a wonderful trip!

That is good news. We are planning to leave mid June also. It's the only time we can go. Were there any mosquitoes?

For mosquitoes, if you visit small villages, you will find them and in big city, it is better.

although we had taken malaria meds, there no mosquitos...not in the city or in truly rural areas. The water is too polluted for the mosquitos!
