China Eastern Layover Shanghai
 

I've gambled on a cheap fare to Oz with China Eastern in Nov/Dec (I gather it won't be the most luxurious flight I've ever had but saving £200 a ticket.....).
On our way back we have a one night layover in Shanghai (Sun 10th Dec?).
Any tips for that evening.
Anyone know what the Hotel(s) that airline use are like?
Are they actually in Shanghai?
Will we be able to do/see anything in the late evening?
Decent (local) restaurant - I don't like eating in hotels as they seem to be all the same.

Do you know the name of the hotel you will be staying in?

i beleive that you're meant to be put up in the Ramada and overspill goes to Eastlands...but i know nothing specific.

There are several Ramadas, which one?

China Eastern aren't exactly forthcoming with this info!!
