Chicago GTG September 15th
 

We're scheduling it for Friday, sept. 15th at VTK (Vong thai kitchen) on state and hubbard.

I just read the Houston GTG notes.

Rest assured I have not put together any quiz.

I just thought we'd eat and talk, take pictures, etc.

I also did not put together any gift bags. You're on your own.

Is anyone bringing trip photos? Those I'd love to see. I can bring the book of 200 I put together from Japan. But only if others are interested.

See you all Friday. I had to bribe my son, but he's coming. He has such insights into Japanese culture - he spend a year living with a host family that did not speak English while he was in high school, and he just got back from spending a year of college in Japan. I'll just have to get him to talk.

Anyone else bringing chopsticks? We have a very nice pair his host mom gave us. The mens' are longer than the womens' for long life. That's Japan!
