Chatuchak Markets from the Airport
 

Hi everyone
Does anyone know if Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport has any facilities to store luggage for several hours and how would you get from the airport to the Chatuchak Weekend Market.

yes, they have a large luggage storage room area

Most convenient way to go the weekend market from the airport would be by taxi.

There are several storage points, all operated by the same company. On the arrivals level (two), they're behind some escalators near customs, and on the departure level (four) they're at the back of the check-in area, near the middle.

Assuming you're arriving before the rail link opens (end of 2008 at the earliest) then you'll need to take a taxi.

Would you be able to tell me how far it is or the approximate cost by cab.

It's about 30 km. If you take the expressways the whole way, the cost including tolls will be around 400 Baht - possibly more going there, with the 50 Baht surcharge.
