Changing Flights on Thai Air

I just found out that my scheduled flight on Thai Air from Chiang Mai to Phuket has had a time change which is inconvenient for me. I would like to see if I can change my flight to a different time. Would this be possible without much of a hassle with Thai Air. I have attempted to contact them via the web site but have not heard back. Should I wait until I get to Bangkok before attempting this change? Is there an 800 number? I can't seem to find one. Will there be a language barrier? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you are in the U.S just call Thai, I have always found them most helpful and they will change as necessary, there 'was' a daily non stop Chiang Mai to Phuket but I believe it has been cancelled for the moment, you have about a dozen flights on each sector so you should have no problem at all, at Chiang Mai they will check you all thru to Phuket and when you arrive in BKK domestic just follow the sign for domestic transfer, it works easy as clockwork. So give them a call, I would forget email/website, I am certain they have an 800 number if not just check phone listings, I think they are in NYC.
