Castle & King

Hi guys, I have booked an India package with Castle and King and I just realized all the reviews I ready were over a year old! I found one on this board that was from this year.

Has anyone else had a positive experience?

Also, I wonder why there are no recent reviews?

So far, so great. We've been using them for the past 8 months to plan our trip (we leave 3 weeks from today--so excited!)

Sometimes they can take awhile to get back to you -- one gets the feeling they are overwhelmed with requests. But never had to wait too long and they've been super flexible in changing things (sometimes even at the last minute).

We decided to go with them based on first-hand experience from folks I know here who have used them in addition to all the rave reviews they get on other message boards. That--and their prices were significantly better than L&P and other popular India tour outfitters.

everyone I have suggested them to has been very pleased..

why would a year or so make any difference?

filmwill,
We're also going to be using them in April…so please post any comments or suggestions that I could consider for our tour. I too have found them very easy to work with and I can't touch the prices they're getting for our rooms.

We are using them for our trip that begins at the end of January. Arvind has been a pleasure to work with - - I feel like we will be in very capable hands.

We will use arvind again if we are fortunate enough to return to India.

Thank you guys! That gives me a lot of peace of mind. We are leaving in 3 weeks and cannot wait!! Everyone enjoy their upcoming trips!

Have a great trip. Look forward to your TR, I'm sure it will give us some tips for January.

Thinking of visiting southern india next year. India is one of the most fascinating places to visit.

I just used them for my trip to Agra last month. They were great. Also, we leave tomorrow for 10 days in Rajasthan and they planned our entire itinerary. I am traveling with 3 children under 8 and Arvind had great suggestions. I would not worry about castle and king.

Castle and King was fantastic! TR to follow

Great! We leave in 2+ weeks, VERY anxious to read your TR to get up to the minute suggestions, etc.

We used C & K last February. We were very pleased with them, and Arvind was a real pleasure to work with during the long planning time. I posted a TR here, upon our return. Have a wonderful journey!

Are these primarily Rajasthan and northern India people? I'm looking for a good source for the south (primarily to book a driver and for routing help.)

wanderlust86 Jan 19th, 2015 07:47 AM

I believe they do all of India

I am just starting to plan an India trip for four women. Would you be willing to give me some additional specifics regarding your itinerary , hotels, and approximate cost. Also how much time you are spending. We will be using miles for the air from Los Angeles.
