Thanks, one and all. I managed to sleep in to 7 this morning, so I think the jetlag is about over. What a zombie I've been!! The older I get, the harder it is to get back to my routine waking and sleeping times. I won't take anything, I just cope.

I don't usually do the manicure pedicure thing, sorry. But there are a couple of places on soi 8, on the way to the skytrain escalator. There is also a salon (Tub Tim) where I have had my hair shampooed. I think they do man/ped treatments also.

Smeagol - in February I went to the Peninsula salon and had a manicure and pedicure that I found very disappointing for the price (the one at the Oriental was much better). I had to go back a few days later (I was actually staying at the Pen) and have the manicure re-done, the polish had already flaked (french manicure). Maybe the spa is better - it looks lovely, but I was not impressed by the salon at all.
