Can you recommend a tour guide in Hong Kong?

Thanks to Fodorites, I've learned about the fabulous "Tour with Tong" for Bangkok. Can anyone recommend someone for Hong Kong?

There is absolutely no need for a guide in Hong Kong.

Agreed (I was just there for the first time).

When are you going to be there? If I am free, I can take you around if you pay for my food and transportation.

I agree with Kathie. HK is a city of about 7-8 million with excellent public transportation. Get yourself a good guidebook and map and you should be just fine. There is something to see around every corner and it's easy to walk within the areas near the harbor.

But if you want to have a guide for Hong Kong it is not "Tong" it is Ting Ting :-) There is a mobile guide called Ask Ting Ting, with recommendations, videos, phone and internetaccess based on a smartphone. Yes the public transport in HK is really good, but it is sometimes useful to know which exit exactly, or how much is the taxi fare...This travel gadget covered all these questions for me, I never got lost and I loved the videos with this asian woman "ting ting" as my guide. Maybe this was what you were looking for?
