Can anyone recommend a tour operator for Sri Lanka?

I have been going on safari to Africa for a number of years and am interested in booking a safari in Sri Lanka. I'm hoping to find a company that specializes in wildlife destinations. There are a couple of U.S. based companies (Natural Habitat and Wildland Adventures) that offer group trips, and a London-based company (Natural World Safaris) that can arrange private safaris, but am wondering if there are others out there or if anyone has experience with the companies mentioned above. I generally travel solo and prefer to plan my own itineraries rather than joining groups. Any recommendations and guidance is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

A lot of folks here have used Boutique Srilanka, though I myself have not used and agent for Srilanka , which I've done pretty extensively over 5 visits. All the while I've had a reliable driver and a good car. I think you can do it on your own too, while planning your own itinerary.
As far as wildlife santuaries in Srilanka is concerned the main ones which are good are Yala in the south , Wilpattu is north of Negombo and Wasgamuwa NP in the north central province near Dambulla. Birding is good at Sinharaja and Horton Plains. Whale watching at Mirrisa , Kalpitiya and Trincomalee.

I do have the Mobile phone number of a reliable driver, his name is Sanjeewa and he is from a village near Bentota .The Numbers are 0718320520 & 0772384482. You'll need to add the country code.
Hope this is of help.
