Where for best cherry blossoms

Missed cherry blossoms by about a week last year in tokyo so I'm headed back to Japan. I have been to Tokyo twice and Kyoto and Chiba. Where can I go that's new and still view the blossoms? I don't like going to see temples or the castles but loved the onsen.

One of Japan's most crowded, noisy and well-liked spots for cherry blossom parties, Ueno Park features additional than a thousand trees along the street leading towards the National Museum and around Shinobazu Pond.

Yoshino!

Mount Yoshino (吉野山, Yoshinoyama), in Nara Prefecture, has been Japan's most famous cherry blossom viewing spot for many centuries.

If the forecast is off, couldn't you could check japan-guide to see the most recent predictions? All the information about how to get there would be right there.
