Buzz-Off
Has anyone tried these Buzz-Off shirts? They're sold by Travelsmith, LLBean and such and are supposed to be mosquito-proof. Pricy but probably worth it if they really work and are comfortable. I think they come in pants and hats too.

There are usually some available at Sierra Trading Post for alot less.

We had some (from ex-officio) when we went to Borneo. Did they work? Who knows! But they were comfortable and fine. Do note that the mosquito-repellant properties are temporary - through several washings, but not forever. I assume they are impregnated with permitherin.

Thanks-
I'll try Sierra and Ex-officio. |
We've been using the Buzz-off ex-officio shirts, tee shirts and pants/shorts for years in Costa Rica. I think they work as well as the stuff you soak your clothes in. They are not more expensive than regular clothes. Took them to Cambodia and Thailand last December - Hardly any bugs, but it was not really mosquito season.

Yep...Took mine to Ghana which is a complete malaria zone. I bought mine when they first came out some years ago and had no mosquito bites. I was gone for 2 weeks. Happy Travels!
