buying a van in Mongolia
 

Can anyone give us an idea on how much a 4x4 russian van (loaf) would cost in Mongolia. Best place to buy it etc, We are heading to mongolia from China in Late June and are planning a drive to Europe no time limit. Myself my wife and our adult son.Any help will be good

Try searching the trip reports. There might had been someone here who went to China and then cross over to Mongolia and bought a Russian van and then drove it to Europe where they sold the van at a handsome profit.

Do a Google search. Its a fairly specialised question and I'm sure not many people on any specific travel site would be able to answer it. Good luck anyway!

There are websites and FB groups that sell cars and other things. Depending on the condition of the van, if you're looking to buy one here (and not bring one in from Russia) you're looking at spending $15K and up.

the price is about up to 6 thousand USD for good condition used one but if you want to buy the Russian van, have to check everything first.
