Business Class Seating Cathay Pacific 777-300 ER

What seats would you choose for 2 people traveling together in business class?

www.seatguru.com

Also you might want to call Cathay Pacific or look at their web site.

I say this because Seatguru gave me inacccurate info about a Cathay flight on a 777-300. When I phoned them they directed me to a different chart for their planes, which are apparently differently configured. (This was last month.)

Excuse me, when I say "phoned them" I meant I phoned Cathay Pacific. Not Seatguru. :)

I have taken this flight to JFK several times. This is their new business class with the flat bed seats which are little compartments. The configuration is 1-2-1, but in the middle row you won’t be able to see each other as there is a wall between you. I would therefore say to take one window and one aisle across from each other (i.e. same row number), mid-section in the main cabin so as to be away from the bathroom which is between the first and second section of the business class cabin. The first section of the business class cabin is just two rows, so I would say to go with the main section to be away from the noise and lights of the bathrooms and crew service section which is between the two business class sections. I would take like 22 A and 22 D. Alternatively, take two window seats behind one another.

You can see the configuration and seat numbers by going to the CX website at http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_...leet/b_777_300. YOu want the long-haul product map.

These seats fully recline and are extremely comfortable. They give you nice large down duvets as well. The seats are a little narrow, IMO, but very comfortable for sleeping.
