Business Class Airfare

About four years ago I found a place to get discounted Business class and First class tickets. The first time I wired money I was very hesitant, but it turned out to work very well and I used her quite often. Now she is no longer available and I am searching for another dependable place to purchase tickets. If anyone knows an e-mail address or web site, please let me know. In this particular case, I am going to Hong Kong.

where are you flying from?

I'm flying out of Chicago but can also fly from the west coast.

Since I'm not making much progress with information on discount Business class tickets, has anyone ever signed up for the website www.firstclassflyer.com ?

We used planetamex.com for business class tix to Asia. It is an American Express travel agency in New York that has decent discounts on bus class tix, and they were quite reliable. We ended up having to cancel and they gave us a full refund promptly.

I've had good luck with IACE here in L.A. for biz fares to NRT and BKK.

Thank-you so much CFW and moremiles. I checked out the planetamex and they found Biz class Chicago to Hong Kong for 4,200 but I also found another site www.luxurytravelsource.com that found first class for 3,800, so I accepted and purchased the tickets. I have a day in Seoul and wouldn't mind a recommendation of a good hotel near airport. (ICN) Also what to do for a day in Seoul.

Coolbreezes, Thanks for the tip. I bookmarked the website.

Thank you so much for this information. I have bookmarked the sites for discounted business and first class as we are in the process of planning trips to China and to Australia/NZ.
In response to the question about frequentflyer.com, I did subscribe for a year and while some information was useful, the concentration was on how to get best deals acquiring and using airline points. Since we are most often not successful with this method, we tend to purchase and therefore find the discout sites very useful. We also found that much of the infromation was published in the WSJ and other news publications to which we already subscribe.

Thanks CCThomp for the information on frequentflyer.com I kind of figured that it might be as you described. I have a lot of frequent flyer miles but using them for upgrades is rare. I was able to get an upgrade to first class to Australia and on a wait list going back. American said to keep calling to see if I had been up graded but I never was. In Australia I asked at the airport and Quantas basically said they lied. Once the ticket is booked they don't change it. It's a long ride back in coach. It also happened to me going to Hong Kong too, so I don't use the wait list any more.
