Bus from Singapore to Malaysia

Hi,

There are several bus operators running buses from Singapore to Malacca. I need help to choose a good bus company. Need a nice luxury coach which is punctual so that we can reach as close to their published times as possible. Please help.

Thanks.

The standard of buses between major destinations in Malaysia is excellent. And as we all know, Singapore is mega-efficent, clean, tidy. etc. etc.

So I'd just pick whichever one it is that fits in with your departure time.

Are you in Singapore now?
Surely you are not chosing the bus and even trying to buy the tix in advance?

It's not worth that much mental energy. Just do it.

Timing of the journey depends on whether the border crossing takes a long time or not (crowds, long queues etc), as well as the traffic condition in Melaka city itself.

It is usually more crowded on weekends and public holidays. If you're not travelling on those days, the Sg-Mel journey should take no more than 4 hours.

Try "Transtar" (they have a website and online ticketing). I also like "707" (tickets from booth at Queen St terminal) because they don't have any meal stops for the driver - only a 5-10 minute toilet stop.

I think the famous one's are 707 (www.707-travel.com.sg), Delima Express (www.hasryexpress.com) and Malacca Singapore Express. There's this website www.busonlineticket.com which also offer weekend bus to Malacca also.
