Brad Simpson is in Bangkok

Greetings Fodor members. Now that I have some free time, I finally got registered. It was great to meet many of you in Boston two months ago.

Now I'm Back in Bangkok staying at Patumwan House (622.) When I got on Fodor's, Isis Monroe was logged in on my computer (Isis, you should log out of public terminals.)

I was told that GPanda stopped by my favorite cigar shop on Monday (Andy, give me a call when you are back in town.)

Sorry I missed the dinner at Face the other night, I wasn't in town yet. I would like to see some of the Fodorites here in town if possible.

The best new thing in town is Siam Paragon. It is fantastic. I'll be checking out some other new places as well.

Happy New Year!

PS I'm glad you are finally posting here. You have taught me so much about BKK!! I'm sure others will also appreciate your sound advice.

Brad-welcome back to Asia and welcome to this forum. Now we can get the real scoop and not the diluted version from Carol ( no"e"). Bob is correct. I'm off to Krabi. I'll be back in BKK briefly next week. However, I'm pretending to be an attentive father and husband. We'll see how long I can keep that up.

Brad... I liked Paragon, too! Happy Travels!

Hi Brad,
Will probably miss you at the patumwan house as it's new year's eve and we leave tomorrow morning. and will be sure to log out of the computer in the future. Happy new year to you. Patumwan house is in such a good location and so near to the paragon.

Sorry I missed you this time around, Brad. I was put off a bit by the throngs of people at Paragon -- guess everyone was interested in seeing the new place.

Happy New Year to all from a gray (but comfortable to me) New England.

Happy New Year to all from a sunny San Juan, and soon to be on the way to St Thomas. I wonder if we'll have some fireworks at sea tonight?? (we're getting ready to sail today on the Golden Princess)

Brad, take care and have a good time. Say hello to Or and Tok tik and More and Napat and everyone at Patumwan House.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Isis, you were still logged in at this computer when I started. Andy, maybe we can meet at the cigar shop when you get back? I'll be playing in a pool tournament in Singapore this weekend. I'll let you all know if I find anything new & fantastic. My # here is 099189895

Happy New Year from St. Thomas US Virgin Islands!!

Bob, Brad and I do not argue, as a rule, so we should be quite civil here!!
