Boutique/Unique Lodging in Tokyo

Folks, any recommendations for a boutique/unique experience lodging in Tokyo? Ideally, someplace central to key attractions.

I will be in town for 2nights and 3 days and price up to $500/nite. Thanks in advance.

I haven't stayed there myself but how about Claska? It's supposed to be hip boutique hotel. Just make sure you check the room size next to the rates.

Hmm the only drawback is it's in a residential neighbourhood, doesn't look that central. Can any locals find out how far the place is from Meguro station?

Ok, it is admitedly not a boutique/small hotel, but the Grand Hyatt has the unique, modern design and hip vibe that I associate it with a boutique hotel. I loved my stay there.

We had a fabulous stay at the Peninsula. Fantastic location. In your price range. Book with a Virtuoso travel agent and get extra benefits.
