Lcuy-During the week can be hard, but there's certainly a possibility. Are you staying downtown?

k-suke! Are you home or still in Asia? Or Portland? We're all waiting for a trip report...especially if you discovered any fodorites on this latest trip like the time you found Bob!

ken---pier four is still open for now but closing sometime soon...the land has been sold....it has been tired for some years now.... the old man died a couple of years ago...he ran it into his 90's...sons have it now...father lost a legal battle some years ago and nothing was the same after that...

legal is an idea....lucy---is fish good for you? or asian?? or something else??

Bob,

Closer to the time I will be asking you about hotels--I have your e-mail address.

"She who must be obeyed" has given her OK for me to make plans.

Oct. 7 sounds good to me.

So have we settled on Oct 7 as our target date then? I'd love to "pen" it in on the calendar.

Bob
It's now in ink! I will book the hotel ASAP for that Saturday night, but will wait a bit for the rest of my trip plans.
Thanks again for doing this.

Why don't you try posting it in the Needham Advertiser. My guess is that they would view the term "GTG" as a cryptogram.

I'll try to make it. That's the weekend of my dad's birthday. My mom's birthday celebration will be two weekends after that. My dad lives out of state. Last year I flew to be with him on his birthday, the weekend around the 7th/8th and then flew all the way back to California and went back to work for a week and turned around and flew to the Boston GTG, a week later, for the weekend and then back to California to celebrate my mom's birthday. Hers fell on a weekday, last year,so I waited to celebrate it the following weekend...the one after the Boston GTG. She lives near me so flying wasn't necessary. So, I'll see what happens, but I've penciled it in. Happy Travels!
