rivet, glover,jrm; from your research can you shed any light on my questions of Nov.9. Irealize you are doing it differently but thought you may have gained some insights you could share with us.

Hi Stankase,

I have never been to the area and know very little! I think you can get a lot out of the experience without having to do a lot of walking, but why don't you plan to stay on the Kinabatangan for a couple of nights, rather than drive long distances each day? Maybe 2-3 nights on the Kinabatangan, followed by two nights a the Sepilok resort, for example? I don't know about the a/c - I would read tripadvisor reviews for that information.

I'm sorry that I can't help you with your questions about diving, either.

However, I also recommend tripadvisor for their travel forums. Their forum on Sabah is very active, and it seems like people who are very familiar with the area post frequently -- maybe you would have good luck posting your questions there!
