Borneo or Bali in July?
 

I would like to do a 6/7 day trip to either Bali or Borneo. I will be travelling alone as a single female, so am concerned with safety. I found an EcoTour in Borneo which interests me because it has diving, visits to the orangutans and probiscis monkeys in the jungle, gomantung caves, village visit. My friend recommends Bali though because it has better beaches and perhaps more to do. I want a combination of relaxation/beach and adventure/sightseeing. Any recommendations.

You dont say where in Borneo the Ecotour will take you. The Orangutan exhibit in Sarawak is attrocious; the one in Sabah is good; but neither give you intereaction with orangs. Sulawesi is also an option. <BR>Depends what you want - relaxing on the beach (which you can do in the U.S. if that is where you are); being with people who live to a different drummer. What are your interests.
