Hi

I AM MAKING ACCOMODATION AND FLIGHT BOOKINGS WITH COMPASS INDIA TOURS -
HAS ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM REGARDING HOTEL BOOKINGS ETC?

HUSBAND,WIFE AND 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TRAVELLING.

NO SIGHTSEEING AS WE PREFER TO BE FLEXIBLE.

ACCOMODATION MAINLY 3 STAR AND A FEW 4 STAR HOTELS/INTERNAL AIR TRAVEL WITH AIR DECCAN/JET AIRWAYS.

WILL BE VISITING MUMBAI,GOA,UDAIPUR,JAIPUR,DELHI,AGRA,BANGALORE,CHE NNAI,ALLEPPEY AND COCHIN IN JUST OVER 3 WEEKS.

PLEASE ADVISE.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Sounds like you are covering a lot of ground in 3 weeks. We used Compass and others on this board have used them as well. While there is always the potential for glitches along the way, I feel that you will do well using Compass for your hotel bookings, driver if needed and interior air. They are a reputable travel agency and the owner Durjay was extremely helpful to me in arranging our 2 week tour last February.

Craig, we also have booked with Compass, based on your trip report and checking a few other sources.
We leave next week for 11 nights.....3 at the Imperial in Delhi, one at the Sheraton in Agra, 2 at Sher Bagh, 3 at Raj Palace in Jaipur, one at Samode Palace and one at Samode Bagh. In fact just received 2 emails from Durjay this morning. We have been very pleased with his work so far. Will report back in January after we get home.

Hi
Craig
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in India organised by Compass.
We had a tour representative meeting and greeting us at every city.
Our drivers(excellent-best in the world as driving in such hairraising situations is truly commendable).
We enjoyed our hotels and sightseeing was absolutely memorable.
Our trip - 24 days was hectic(north and south)but unforgettable.
Thanks once again for your recommendations - truly appreciated.
Will submit my trip report soon.
cheers

WE ARE LEAVING ON SUNDAY FOR A 19DAY TRIP TO INDIA WITH COMPASS TOURS. SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS SHOULD BE REFERRED TO DURJAY AS HIS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPIERENCE IS INVALUBLE. BTW AMERICAN HAS A NEW FLIGHT SFO TO OHARE TO DELHI.
