Booking a flight BKK-HAN

Hi,

I'll be in Thailand for 20 days in March and planning a side trip to Hanoi, Vietnam for about 4 days. I'm planning to book air & hotel separately since I got a corporate discount at Intercontinental hotel in Hanoi. My question is should I book my flight here in the US (internet) or wait to book it with one of the local Thai travel agency? I prefer to fly with the major airlines, not the low budget ones. I'm checking Thai airways (pricey) and Air France. Are there any other airlines that fly BKK-HAN?Is it cheaper to book the aifares in Thailand?

The following budget airlines fly from BKK to HAN:
AirAsia - Nok Air - Pacific Airlines

Since you don't want a budget airline, I would contact Eddie. I use him most years to book intra-asia flights. I know of Thai and Air France, but I expect there may be other options as well. Even on Thai, Eddie can often get better prices there than we can from the US.

Hi,
I would also do it in Bangkok.
Vietnam Airlines could be another choice.
