BKK to Goa
Hi, does anyone know what airline flies from BKK to GOA?..Can't seem to find anything..Thanks.
|
my guess is that you may have to fly through delhi on thai or an indian air line or through mumbai
|
Yes, looks like you need to connect at least once. Go here http://www.flyaow.com/classcwt.htm and use BKK for Bangkok and GOI for Goa to see most options...exception some discount airlines are not included.
|
Thanks guys..I was hoping for a non stop flight, but i guess no such thing!! Next trip i am going to use frequent flyer points to get to BKK..Fly to Siem Reap...back to BKK and then onto Goa...(at least i am hoping to do this)...

There is no direct flight from BKK to Goa. Some years ago, there used to be a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt directly into Goa through some charter arrangement. There were also direct Goa-Dubai flights but I think they have now been discontinued.
|
There are no direct flights. You need to fly via either Delhi or Mumbia, airlines from BKK to Delhi are Thai, Air India and Indian Airlines. There are many more flights from BKK to Delhi than to Mumbai but less flights from Delhi to Goa than from Mumbai.
You could also try via Bangalore or Chennai. Check which of the Indian domestic flight operators do the domestic route, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Air Sahara. |
All the domestic carrier fly to Goa. Indian Airlines and Jet fly from Bombay, Sahara flies both from Bombay and direct from Delhi. U could check whether Air India has a flight to Goa (last time I checked they did not but they have itnroduced a bunch of new sectors) but they do not fly direct Bangkok Bombay, they fly via Delhi with an hours stopover in Delhi but you do continue on the same aircraft and from the same airport.

Yes, probably through Delhi. I checked into this a few years ago. Happy Travels!
