BKK Spa- Healthland

Who has used this spa in BKK? I can't email them as their email is not working. Can someone check to see if they are still in Business and if so are any of their 3 facilities near a skytrain stop?

I used the Sathorn location several times last year. Healthland was recommended by the Front Desk at the Royal Orchid. It was a short 10 minute cab ride. I believe I saw a SkyTrain Station nearby. It's the stop just before the river.

We did the Body polish and Aromatherapy Massage. Very nice.

The facilities are nice, but not luxurious. Very basic and clean.
And prices were very reasonable. When I was there, it was very popular with air crews.

I just googled "Healthland" and their website is up and looks good.

Enjoy.

It does not appear to be close - every time I try to email them I get an undeliverable response. There is something wrong with their email. Their rates are very good and the facilities look great but one cannot communicate with them via email.

Bill why are you trying to e-mail them..to book an appt?

Is it necessary to book the previous day for an appt at most spas? More than a day ahead?

Ekscrunchy, the Sathorn branch is relatively close to the Chong Nonsi Skytrain station. I say relatively because I read a review that said that they were right off the station and so I got worried my first time there when I kept walking and walking and didn't see it. It's actually a good 10 min walk from the station. Not really far, but immediately off the station either.

Bill, we were there in mid-Nov and at least the Sathorn branch is not only most definitely open but it's always packed during the day. That said, my DH went twice without appts for Thai massages and got in right away both times.

It sounds as if it is better to book at least a day ahead. Would this be true for all the good spas?

Its not that I wanted to book via email but I did have a few questions and since they listed an email on their web site one would think that someone there is monitoring their email to respond to questions- but as I said it does not appear to be working- it would be great if a local would call them and tell them that their email is down.

eks, yes, it's always a good idea to book at least a day ahead for spas. You might be lucky and get in without an appointment, but you can guarantee getting in if you make an appointment in advance.

We just visited this spa last week at one of the BKK locations, not sure which one. It was about a 10 minute cab from the Mandarin Oriental. This place is awesome...state of the art and very clean and very cheap! We paid 15$ for a 2 hour thai massage. Awesome place!
