Hi, check hoteltravel.com...They are slightly cheaper..I just booked through them lately...also the Marriott..
|
Thanks again for the info. You are all so helpful. Bob, you might find it interesting. I went to the asiatravel24 site and got this message on their home page:
"Sorry, the website www.asiavoyage24.com has been closed" I guess their reputation must have been their demise. TracyB, you're right about hoteltravel.com. They are about $9 cheaper per night. I might use them if nobody has any complaints about them. |
I quite liked them..Plus, you can go on their website anytime and look up your reservation and you don't have to pay a deposit...
|
i will look at that site now and hope i will like it in the future...especially like the no pay aspect....
hua hin often has special deals under each hotel listing so look for that....last year there was book 6 nites and pay for 5 which was a huge savings... |
in fairness there is not so much a difference in the reg room rates from one site to the other....in every case the site listed above beats the hus hin site by anywheres from $3-6 per nite...some of this may be exchange conversions rates...i think huahin updates the exchange rate daily...
i see both sites have the same special deals... huahin charges you for your first nite upon making your reservation....they then charge the remaining amount just before your visit: 10-14 days in advance, unless you are arriving within 7 days and then it is immediate (both systems charge this way for short notice res)... so i really think they are similar..i will try this new one... |
Bob, I was also thinking that the price difference may be due to the exchange rate. The one site quotes in USD and the other in Baht. Good point!
|
the HH site can easily be converted to $$...just below the prices is a box to insert usa and then prices change to dollars...
