BKK-Limo

Does anyone have a recommendation for a specific limo service from BKK into Bangkok? Will be arriving late at night and would like to arrange this in advance if possible. <BR>At least, a specific company to look for at the arrivals would be great! THanks in advance.....dan

There is no need to arrange in advance. There is a limo service at the airport (after you leave customs). The desk is right there, open 24 hours, and the prices are clearly posted. You pay, in baht, at the desk. There is an ATM nearby so you can stock up on baht.

We took the Thai Airways Limo (not actually a limo, just a nice car). We didn't arrange it in advance, just showed up and booked on the spot.

You may be able to arrange something through your hotel. We didn't have a car pick us up, but we took the hotel's car service to the airport. We stayed at the Peninsula, it cost 16000 baht (~$40) plus tip to have a chauffered Mercedes with white gloved driver. It was fun - I could never afford doing it in the US.

Do you mean 1600 baht?

The Limo desk (Mercedes and Volvos) is open 24/7, no need to book, no-one does. Just turn up. Downtown costs about B 500 but hotels will charge you 3 or 4 or 5 times that, don't bother booking with hotel, it's easy.
