I made reservations @ the Indra Hotel on Phaholyotin Rd in Phayathai, Bangok..Has anyone stayed there?

i have not stayed there but it is one of the older hotels in bkk and services many tour groups...its location is adequate...

would you consider staying on the river instead?? it gives you a whole different impression of the city..

Sure..any suggestions? How far is it from the Indra Hotel?

indra is right in the midle of the garment district (Pratunam) it is a bussy part of town. I've never stayed there but the location is OK to get too the bts may be a sweaty stroll. but you have many malls within walking distance.

first check your budget before you get lured too the river.. who wouldn't want to stay at the PEN or Mariott, unfortunatly some of us have too settle for a litle less.

I have stayed at Indra and it is quite ok though nothing special.Very handy to shopping. If you stay there change your money next door ...good rate of exchange. Enjoy!
