the marriott boat is once again sailing (albeit 1/2 hour). i went to see some vendors in the mall, who seem to have better merchandise and lower prices than the suk street vendors.
anyway with the hotel new management and new name starting to go up, you would think they would throw the riff-raff out but bob is still staying there. they said the are offering a 10% discount on tuk-tuk transfers to the Na Na hotel (guaranteed to change the bed sheets once per week!) that is linen goes from room 650 to room 670 etc. well i stayed there in 1970 so it should be satisfactory for the "Royals" now.
also i snuck over to Swensons (i am probably the last person who needs to be in that store) and a rabid mother dog was pearched in front of the door, snarling and growling at me. have you ever seen a bkk dog move any faster than it needs to? possibly a 'sign' do you think? i had to get the parking lot cop to swat the dog with a broom to get in!
back to honolulu tomorrow night!
