BKK- Centre Point Silom
 

I would like to know if anyone has stayed at Centre Point Silom on a triple occupancy... My concern is that perhaps we are going to be three people instead of two in our travel to Thailand and, considering that we will be a couple plus a single, I was wondering whether the extra bed is in the bedroom or in the living.

We stayed in a one-bedroom and had requested twin beds (mother/daughter). We got a king-size bed with a twin bed right up against it. It was great for us - might not be so great for a couple and a single. The couch in the living room does not convert to a bed - and would be too short for an adult to sleep on. For your situation, a two-bedroom unit might be better.

Two of us stayed in a one bedroom in Feb. When we arrived in our apartment there was a roll-away single bed in the living room. We asked that they take it out because we didn't need it but, in my opinion, there is plenty of room in the living room to accomodate the single bed.

The 2 bedroom apartment of CentrePoint Silom is very big (175-183 sqm) and goes for arond 175-200 US$.

if you are looking for a bit cheaper solution - the CP in Soi Langsuan has also 2 bedroom apartment (103 sqm) for 125$. also very good.

CP Silom is a bit priced for our budget, but Langsuan could do...

We only paid $80 for a one bedroom so I am surprised that a 2 bedroom would be $100 more!

I bet you could find it cheaper if you shopped around.

I have been thinking... and perhaps, for these prices, it would be more convenient to pay for two rooms, and there will be real privacy...

on soi 4, sukhumvit there is a serviced apartment complex called omni....it is part of the ascott group and might be in your price range....also the chateau de bangkok might be in that price range...

Personally, I would select Chateau de Bangkok over Omni although it's about 300 meters into the soi called Ruam Rudee. But once you get out of the soi, then you're right at the Ploenchit skytrain station...on Sukumvit Rd... which is very convenient. I have stayed at the Chateau de Bangkok(Aug 2004) and in Jan 2006 was given a walk-through of the Omni. Happy Travels!

I find Chateu de BKK suggestion very interesting!
How about Nature Ville Executive. Has anyone stayed there or heard of? It seems a good location, doesn't it?
