BKK and gold

Do the BKK jewelers have white gold as well as yellow gold? If so, is it the bargain the yellow gold is? Thanks -

Many jewelers do have white gold. The best bargain for gold however is in Chinatown, which is all yellow gold, 24k (it's really 23k but they call it 24k). the Chinatown gold sellers do not bargain. They weigh the gold and price it according to the price of gold that day. If you find one who is willing to bargain, I would go elsewhere since it may not be real 24k. I've never encountered this in a gold shop in Chinatown. I would be very wary of gold sellers on the street however.

I should have been more clear. What I should have asked is whether the jewelers (like the ones mentioned by Bob & Kathie) make jewelry in white gold (gift for a relative who doesn't like yellow gold). Thanks -

Sorry, I thought you meant just going in and buying what was for sale. I've never had jewelry made, I've only purchased "ready made" jewelry so I don't know the answer. But if they sell white gold, my guess is that they will make pieces in it as well. Of course, I could be wrong. You could also perhaps have things made in platinum if not white gold, but I doubt this will be the bargain that gold is. There are some beautiful white gold pieces already for sale. I bought an 18k white gold ring with a sapphire in BKK a few years ago.

Thanks, Laurie!

institcher, I shop at SJ International, and they do, indeed, have white gold pieces made up and of course they do custom work as well.
