A lot of the 5 star hotels offer a dining club sort of membership for local residents and they go for around 6,000 Baht per hotel per year. This include a night or two in the hotel, 50% discount for meal for 2 people, 30% discount for 3 people, 20% discount for 4 etc...
Once you've moved here and join your cousins I highly recommend you buy one or two memberships!
