BKK airport question

How much time does it take from when you land in BKK from an international destination to get through customs, exchange money, visit the TAT office, and maybe grab a quick snack before leaving. I want to know when to tell our driver to pick us up without making them wait too long.

we've recently done this twice,
the first time from london - and it took 90 mins to clear immigration, - got currency whilst the rest of the party stayed in the queue. Luggage was out by the time we got downstairs, customs took no time at all.
2nd time, we flew in from cambodia and imigration took us 50 mins,

Typically, you tell your driver your air arrival time. They'll know how long it takes you to get through arrivals formalities at that hour.

Since I always arrive around midnight, it doesn't ake me more than 15 minutes (and usually less) to get through immigration. Baggage is pretty quick, and I typically use an ATM right outside customs.

I'm not sure why you need to visit TAT nor can I imagine having a snack at the airport before you go into town where all kinds of wonderful food is available...

Relax. Just tell your driver the time your flight is arriving. They have vast experience in meeting people arriving on international flights.

Thanks for all of your input. We arrive at 10AM, and I really had no idea whether that would be a busy time or not, so I appreciate your reassurance. Good to know there is a money exchage near immigration. I thought TAT would have a couple maps we could pick up so I wanted to take a quick look.

it all depends on the lines at immigration....last time it only took us 40 minutes, but on average i find 1 hour the norm, without eating
