Big problem! Bangkok Air flights full!
 

I knew this was going to happen...I remained waitlisted for our asia flights so long that now the BKK to Siem Reap flights are all full on 12/26- Jan 1.

Looks like we may be able to fly via Phnon Penh, but then it becomes an all day thing with 5 hours of layover in PP.

Any ideas?

via HKT? via SGN?

I may have to resort to that, but it seems so far out of the way...

Has anyone here taken land transportation from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap?

Air Asia to Phnom Penh might work, plus it's cheap. You could either taxi or bus to Siem Reap, or spend a night or two there and fly.

We are going to take the bus I think from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, but that'll be in August, so I can't tell you how it is. But I have heard that the Mekong Express bus company is the one to use, it costs $9.00 and is good.
